Russian born artist Maria Kreyn is currently the first artist-in-residence at The ARX.
Educated at the University of Chicago (in Maths and Philosophy), Kreyn’s painting techniques are self-taught. Her work has been exhibited in numerous galleries in the United States and Europe, and has been shown in multiple museums in China.
Kreyn’s public works feature a collection of eight paintings based on Shakespeare, commissioned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, which are now on permanent display in the lobby of London’s historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
