Faten Khalil

Faten Khalil’s work explores women, childhood, and the human experience. Her textured artworks often utilise several different mediums such as canvas, collage, charcoal, and marble powder, and are inspired by a mixture of art movements including impressionism, abstract expressionism, and realism. In 2019, her work ‘Peace and Security’ was awarded first prize by the United Nations Organisation and she was chosen - for the second time - to represent Lebanon at Montenegro’s annual Ode To Life Fine Arts Festival. In 2020, Khalil’s sculptural work ranked first place at the ICCR Global Art Competition organised by the State of India.
