Lim Chang Min

Lim Chang Min is a Korean artist born in 1971. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Art Production from The City University of New York, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Art in Media from New York University. He also earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Applied Fine Arts from Keimyung University.

 

Lim Chang Min has received recognition for his artistic contributions, including several prestigious awards such as the New York World Studio Foundation Award, the New York Jack Goodman Technology Award, and the New York Luminous Award.

 

His works have been collected by esteemed institutions and organizations worldwide, including Goldman Sachs Group, New York University, the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai, Incheon Airport, SM Entertainment, Daegu Museum of Art, Pohang Museum of Art, Gyeongnam Museum of Art, and Daegu Catholic University Hospital, among others.

 

Lim Chang Min has showcased his artistic vision through numerous solo exhibitions held in prominent galleries and venues. His recent solo exhibitions include "Into a Time Frame: The Beauty of Korea" at Outernet London in London, UK, and "Into a Time Frame: Into the Biotech" at Vista Walker Hill in Seoul. Other notable solo exhibitions include "Silent Move" at The Trinity Gallery in Seoul, "At the Moment" at Art Side Gallery in Seoul, and "Listen to the Silence" at Soul Art Space in Busan.

 

In addition to his solo shows, Lim Chang Min has participated in various group exhibitions that highlight his talent and contribute to the contemporary art scene. His works have been featured in exhibitions such as "Not Paintings" at the Daegu Museum of Art and "A Source of Inspiration" at the Shanghai Museum of Art.
